Artistic Connections
Creative Art Society (CAS) is a nonprofit art club in Downriver, Southeastern Michigan. We aim to connect art communities in the region. CAS fosters a love for art and supports artistic growth. We offer scholarships to young artists and provide exhibitions and educational opportunities for members. We share information about artist events, classes, and demonstrations across Southeastern Michigan.
CAS holds monthly meetings to bring together artists of all backgrounds. Everyone, regardless of age or skill level, is welcome. If you enjoy meeting local artists, we invite you to join us. Guest artists often give demonstrations at our meetings, which occur every second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM at the Veteran’s Memorial Library in Southgate.

Art 101 - If you love making art, learning new techniques, and sharing experiences with other artists, the Creative Art Society (CAS) may be perfect for you. Join meetings, take classes, or showcase your work at art shows to enhance your creativity.
Local Exhibits - Enjoy attending or entering art shows? Interested in selling your art or meeting fellow CAS members? CAS can help you connect with the local art community.
Support Your Local Art Community - CAS provides many ways to help keep local arts thriving in the Downriver area of Southeastern Michigan. Join us to get involved in community visual arts.
Your Continued Support - As a CAS member, your support is vital for sustaining local arts. We offer exhibits, shows, and educational opportunities, including CAS-sponsored classes and the Annual CAS Visual Art Scholarship Awards for high school and college students.
Volunteering
Volunteer Opportunities
As a volunteer, you can engage with visual art by creating, displaying, and selling your artwork. We also learn together in this journey. We're glad you've shown interest in joining CAS. If you want to help at art events, share ideas, or assist with our website, please reach out. This includes submitting articles, event details, or photos of your art.
We appreciate support in blogging, content creation, design, sales, marketing, or event assistance. We welcome all ideas from our members, but please note we have a small staff right now, so we may not be able to implement all suggestions. Thank you for your understanding and for any recommendations you provide to help CAS serve you better.

Keeping Your Payments Secure
CAS uses safe payment systems to protect your transactions. You have different payment options on the CAS website, including Stripe, which handles your payments securely.
